Hub88 and Live88, the B2B brands of Yolo Group, have successfully obtained gaming-related vendor licenses from the United Arab Emirates’ newly formed General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA).

The GCGRA is the federal body tasked with licensing and supervising all commercial gaming in the country.

These approvals represent the official market entry for both companies into the highly anticipated UAE gaming landscape.

Under the new licenses, the Hub88 platform will be able to provide its aggregation services to other licensed operators, while Live88 is now authorized to offer its live casino products throughout the region.

The license awarded to Live88 is particularly significant, as it makes the brand the first and only online live casino studio to be officially approved for operation in the UAE.

This first-mover advantage positions Live88 to become a key provider of locally regulated live dealer gaming experiences across all seven Emirates as the market develops.

While securing a major foothold in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, both companies will maintain their primary product development and testing operations in Tallinn, Estonia.

This milestone aligns with the strategic vision of Hub88 and Live88 to focus on growth in regulated iGaming markets by deploying advanced and compliant technology solutions.

The approvals are seen as a strong endorsement of the brands’ operational standards and commitment to integrity.

Lara Falzon, CEO of Yolo’s B2B brands, said:

Securing these licences represents a strong vote of confidence from the UAE’s regulatory body in our brands, our technology and our commitment to operating to the highest standards of integrity and innovation. This development reassures our clients and partners of our long-term vision to operate exclusively in regulated markets.
