Intralot Gaming Services (IGS), a subsidiary of Bally’s Intralot, has secured a prestigious 15-year monitoring licence for electronic gaming machines (EGMs) in the state of Victoria.

In a milestone victory for its international B2B division, Intralot Gaming Services (IGS), a subsidiary of Bally’s Intralot, has secured a prestigious 15-year monitoring licence for electronic gaming machines (EGMs) in the state of Victoria.

The contract, which officially commences on August 16, 2027, solidifies the group’s role as a primary technology partner in one of the world’s most rigorously regulated jurisdictions.

Modernizing Australia’s Gaming Infrastructure

Under the terms of the agreement, IGS will oversee the monitoring of approximately 26,300 EGMs statewide. The system is designed to provide unprecedented levels of transparency, ensuring the integrity of every transaction while providing the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission with vital data for taxation, research, and harm minimization.

The mandate also includes the management of the statewide pre-commitment system, covering 2,628 machines at the flagship Melbourne casino.

Commitment to Regulatory Integrity

The move represents a significant expansion of Bally’s Intralot’s global interactive footprint. By integrating a “new generation of technology,” the group aims to set a global benchmark for player protection and operational collaboration.

Robeson Reeves, CEO of the Bally’s Intralot Group, highlighted the strategic importance of the EGM award:

“This award represents a major milestone for Bally’s Intralot and IGS and is a significant investment in the future of Victoria’s gaming technology infrastructure. We look forward to working with the Victorian Government, the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission, and industry stakeholders to deliver a secure and transparent monitoring system that supports integrity and player protection.”

This 15-year EGM commitment ensures that Intralot Gaming will remain at the heart of the Australian gaming landscape for the next two decades, providing the technical backbone for a safer and more transparent retail betting environment.
