Paf has announced a strategic multi-year partnership with Formula 1 legend and 2007 World Champion Kimi Räikkönen in the wake of the upcoming new gambling licensing system set to launch in 2027.
This collaboration will depend on the implementation of the new Finnish licensing system, and as such, it will be activated once the gambling market in Finland adopts the new licensing framework and opens the market to competition.
According to the details of the deal, Kimi Räikkönen decided to partner with Paf due to the company’s ongoing commitment to charity and responsibility, preservation of Finnish identity, and rich history, which dates back to 1966.
With a strong focus on responsible gambling, Paf was founded in 1966 with the specific goal of generating funds for charities, and is a fierce advocate for responsibility, something that can be seen in its introduction of annual loss limits for Finnish players in 2018.
Consequently, Paf is a pioneer in many fields, as this is an international gaming company founded on the Åland Islands with the clear purpose of generating funds to be used for the benefit of society, and was created by the local health charity Folkhälsan together with the local branches of the Finnish Red Cross, Save the Children and Dagens Barn foundation.
