casino de monte carlo sbm revenue

Société des Bains de Mer (SBM) Group, the prestigious owner and operator of the iconic Casino de Monte-Carlo and Casino Café de Paris, has announced a robust start to its 2025/26 fiscal year, posting impressive revenue of €244 million for the first quarter ending June 30th.

The Monaco-based luxury operator of Casino de Monte-Carlo reported significant financial growth across all its business segments, underscoring a period of sustained positive momentum.

The group’s hospitality sector was the standout performer and primary revenue driver for the quarter. Hotel revenue soared to an all-time record high of €148.9 million, marking a substantial €18.6 million (14%) increase compared to the same period in the previous year.

This exceptional performance highlights the continued strong demand for luxury travel and SBM’s premier accommodations.

The gaming sector also demonstrated healthy growth, with revenue climbing 8% year-on-year to reach €50.6 million. The company’s rental business sector contributed €39.2 million, up 6% from the prior year.

In her comments on the results, SBM Chairman and Deputy Stéphanie Valeri confirmed the positive trend:

Revenue for the first quarter of the 2025-2026 financial year increased in all business segments and confirms the growth momentum of the S.B.M. Group, as well as the relevance of our strategy.

She specifically noted the highly dynamic activity in hotels and restaurants throughout the quarter, which was significantly boosted by major events like the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix.

These strong quarterly results build upon a record-breaking full-year 2024/25 performance, where the group achieved a record annual turnover of €768 million.

The company is also looking to the future with strategic expansion projects, including the recently named Monte Carlo One hotel and casino development in the luxury ski resort of Courchevel, further signaling its commitment to growth.
