In its 2025 Annual Report published today, the Swedish iGaming powerhouse revealed a record-breaking revenue of €1.197 billion

Betsson AB has officially confirmed its most successful financial year to date. In its 2025 Annual Report published today, the Swedish iGaming powerhouse revealed a record-breaking revenue of €1.197 billion (£1.04bn), representing an 8% increase year-on-year. Operating income surged to €253 million, maintaining a healthy margin of 21.1%.

Latin America and Regulated Markets Drive Growth

A “laser focus” on regulated markets has paid off, with 68% of total revenue now coming from locally licensed jurisdictions. Latin America remains the crown jewel of Betsson’s expansion strategy, contributing 27% of total revenue. This growth was bolstered by new local license launches in Brazil and Paraguay, alongside a strengthened presence in Argentina.

CEO Pontus Lindwall credited the success to continuous investment in the user experience:

“2025 was characterised by continued strong customer activity, and [big] investments continued to enhance the customer experience. [Although] profitability during the year was impacted by our product investments and increased gaming taxes… our activities for 2026 support our ambition to continue creating long-term value for our shareholders.”

A “Fully Stacked” Proprietary Platform

Betsson’s technological independence is a major competitive advantage. The 2025 annual report shows that Betsson’s proprietary platform now generates 90% of group revenue, supporting both B2C and B2B operations. This tech stack includes advanced AI-enabled processes for responsible gaming and optimized payment solutions.

As Betsson moves into 2026, it operates in 24 licensed markets, positioning it to capitalize on the “structurally attractive” global online gaming market.
