Award-winning iGaming technology supplier Delasport has officially gone live in Alberta with operator PlayBetNova.ca, entering Canada’s newest regulated market and extending its partnership with the Betnova brand into a second province.
Powering PlayBetNova.ca in Alberta’s regulated market
Occurring three months after Alberta’s online gaming market opened on July 13, 2026, the launch deploys Delasport’s full turnkey technology stack to support local market growth.
The go-live equips PlayBetNova.ca with Delasport’s comprehensive turnkey technology stack, providing a proprietary Sportsbook, Casino, Player Account Management platform, and Managed Services. This infrastructure furnishes the operator with the operational support necessary to scale across Canada’s newest regulated territory.
The expansion taps into significant market momentum; while Ontario generated CA$82.7 billion in wagers and CA$3.2 billion in gross gaming revenue during fiscal 2024-25, Alberta government estimates indicate that unregulated operators currently account for roughly 70% of local activity. Industry analysts anticipate that regulation will successfully convert this demand into roughly CA$1.2 billion in first-year gross gaming revenue.
The Alberta rollout follows Delasport’s successful registrations with the AGLC as both a Platform Provider and Critical Gaming Systems Supplier. Building upon its established track record in Ontario, where its turnkey technology and Managed Services power brands such as TitanPlay and Betnova, the supplier continues to demonstrate its capacity to swiftly adapt to new regulatory frameworks.
