
Lotte Tour Development Co Ltd has reported a significant surge in April casino sales at Jeju Dream Tower, fueled by a combination of increased visitor traffic and a substantially improved table game hold rate.
The foreigner-only casino recorded monthly sales of KRW48.84 billion ($33.3 million), representing a sharp increase both sequentially from March and on a year-over-year basis.
Operational Highlights and Table Performance
According to a filing with the Korea Exchange, casino sales at the Jeju property increased 20.9% from March and 48.5% compared to April 2025. The performance was characterized by gains across all primary gaming sectors:
- Table-Game Sales: Reached KRW46.50 billion, marking a 49.4% year-over-year increase and a 21.3% rise from March.
- Machine-Game Sales: Generated KRW2.34 billion, up 33.4% year-on-year and 14.3% sequentially.
- Table Hold Rate: The hold rate in April was 22.6%, up 2.3 percentage points from March and 6.1 percentage points from the same month last year.
- Visitor Traffic: The casino hosted 58,534 patrons in April, a 27.9% year-over-year increase and a 9.2% gain compared to the prior month.
Year-to-Date Growth and Hotel Revenue
Lotte Tour’s hotel business also saw an uptick, with sales reaching KRW7.38 billion, a 3.8% year-on-year gain and a 25.4% increase from March. These all-around improvements led to a firmer operating month for the entire Jeju Dream Tower complex.
For the first four months of 2026, total casino sales have reached KRW167.47 billion, reflecting a 42.6% increase on an annual basis and maintaining the company’s solid growth trajectory for the year.
