In a major move for the internationalization of South American sports, Sportradar has officially signed a multi-year partnership with Liga Nacional de Basquete (LNB).
This strategic alliance grants Sportradar exclusive worldwide rights for audiovisual betting and gaming distribution, as well as comprehensive betting data collection across all LNB-organized competitions, including the premier NBB Caixa and Copa Super 8.
AI-Driven Analytics and Performance Tools
The partnership integrates Sportradar’s advanced Synergy portfolio directly into the league’s operations. Teams will now utilize Synergy Stats for automated data analytics and Synergy Coaching, an AI-powered video solution. These tools are designed to elevate the competitive standard of Brazilian basketball by providing coaches with high-fidelity game breakdowns and individual player performance scouting.
A Unified Shield for Integrity
Integrity remains a cornerstone of this collaboration. Sportradar will deploy its Universal Fraud Detection System (UFDS AI) to monitor over 620 matches per season. To complement this technology, the firm will conduct educational seminars for athletes and referees to mitigate the risks of match-fixing.
