IGT Global Services Limited, the subsidiary of the giant International Game Technology (IGT), has signed a 10-year contract with Loterie Nationale, the national lottery of Luxembourg.
As a result, IGT will have the task of updating the central gaming system of the lottery, peripherals, and point-of-sale terminals with its products.
The update will include the lottery’s integrated lottery solution platform Omnia, plus Retailer Pro terminals such as Game Touch and Game Touch Draw S2 self-service automated lottery vending machines.
IGT is the perfect partner for Loterie Nationale to update and expand its service, being that this gaming colossus is the primary tech provider to 26 out of 46 lotteries within the United States, 16 out of the 25 top global lotteries, and 8 out of the biggest 10 lotteries, making it arguably one of the biggest lottery providers on the planet.
Moreover, IGT’s RGS platform will also allow players from Luxembourg to access the instant iGaming content portfolio which includes popular licensed content, progressive jackpot games, as well as omnichannel games.
Léon Losch, Director of Loterie Nationale, said that by partnering with IGT and using its cutting-edge technology, the national lottery operator of Luxembourg can upgrade their service for their players and improve “continued sales growth”, consequently continuing its support for noble causes.
IGT has been a trusted partner to Loterie Nationale for more than 20 years, supporting retail growth and digital evolution. Upgrading our lottery and iLottery solutions with IGT’s advanced technology can pave the way for our continued sales growth, provide our players with best-in-class experiences and position us to continue our support of good causes.
*Interesting fact: IGT is the first gambling industry supplier across the Atlantic to receive the Internet Compliance Assessment Program (iCAP) Ready certificate from the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG).
Similarly, Jay Gendron, Chief Operating Officer at IGT Global Lottery, commented on the partnership and said that his company looks forward to working closely with the Loterie Nationale and giving them access to improved analytics, top-performing IGT games, increased scalability, and advanced responsible gambling tools.
Over the course of IGT’s longstanding partnership with Loterie Nationale, we’ve helped support the growth of its point-of-sale footprint, the addition of self-service terminals in retail locations and the launch of iLottery in the region. We look forward to continuing that momentum through our future-forward technology portfolio that gives Loterie Nationale access to top-performing IGT games, improved analytics, advanced responsible gaming tools and increased scalability.
