IDX Games Ltd has finalized a major supply agreement with the highly anticipated Westside Resort in Manila’s Entertainment City.
The partnership will see the rollout of IDX’s proprietary X-Trend display system across 250 gaming tables, establishing a high-tech visual identity for the property ahead of its grand opening later this year.
Smart Table Integration and Centralized Control
The selection of the X-Trend system followed an exhaustive trial period by the Westside team, which is operated by Travellers International Hotel Group. The technology was chosen for its ability to integrate seamlessly with the resort’s “smart table” infrastructure, allowing for a real-time flow of wagering data.
Furthermore, the system offers centralized network management, giving casino staff the ability to update display content and betting parameters across the entire floor instantly.
Westside Resort Chief Gaming Officer Rhoda Lopez noted that the technology is a key differentiator:
“The property’s preparations were centered on creating a gaming environment that reflects its standards for quality and guest experience. The review of available options showed that IDX stood out because of the visual quality of its displays and its ability to provide a customized solution for the casino floor.”
Pushing the Boundaries of Modern Casino Tech
The agreement positions IDX as a vital operational partner for one of the most significant IR (Integrated Resort) launches in the Philippines this decade.
Peter Johns, Chief Commercial Officer at IDX Games Ltd, highlighted the scale of the innovation:
“Securing a project of this size with Travellers International Hotel Group, which operates Westside Resort, reflects the innovation and quality the company aims to deliver. Westside Resort is pushing the boundaries of what a modern casino can be, and the X-Trend system is well-suited to the property’s expectations for both design and smart integration.”
As Westside Resort nears its launch, the inclusion of 250 X-Trend displays ensures that the property will debut with one of the most advanced and visually cohesive gaming floors in the Asian market.
