Tier 1 sportsbook technology supplier FIRST.bet has officially launched UltraCup, an advanced tournament-focused sportsbook engine engineered to maximize operator player retention throughout the upcoming World Cup.

The custom module addresses the logistical reality of the expanded tournament format, which features 48 competing national teams and 104 matches packed into an intense, continuous playing calendar.
Centralizing the Fan Journey in a Single Interface
UltraCup integrates the entire tournament ecosystem inside a single digital dashboard, allowing users to track live group standings, interact with tournament-context match listings, and navigate knockout brackets seamlessly from the Round of 32 through to the final match.
The application unifies a variety of features within the live bet slip, including dynamic outright markets, automatic Bet Builder boosts, and an innovative Blind Bets mechanic. This feature enables users to trade on potential, future tournament matchups before the final participants are officially drawn, establishing an ongoing engagement loop across every competitive stage.
The product also introduces an automated configuration layer termed Auto Boost Builder. The tool allows software administrators to implement tiered percentage odds boosts targeted by sport, tournament, league, or specific user profiles, equipped with instant activation controls.
Concurrently, the engine debuts a Welcome Bonus Boost pipeline designed to optimize conversion rates during critical registration windows by letting operators deploy exclusive, boosted price paths targeted solely at newly registered players who have not yet logged a primary real-money transaction.
Multi-Tournament Scalability
While deployed to target immediate football demand, the software framework is engineered to serve as a reusable acquisition layout across diverse sports leagues and major international tournament schedules. FIRST.bet currently manages transactional architecture for more than 75 live operators and over 100 business partners across Latin America, Europe, and Africa.
The launch follows a successful regulatory cycle for the technology firm, which secured Sportsbook Supplier of the Year honors at the SBC Awards 2025 and EGR LATAM Awards 2025, alongside winning Best Sportsbook Provider at the BiS SiGMA South America 2026 assembly.
Tom Light, Founder and CEO of FIRST.bet, stated that centralizing tournament telemetry prevents players from abandoning operator apps to utilize third-party score feeds:
“The World Cup is the one moment when every football fan is watching, betting and hunting for somewhere to follow it all – and most sportsbooks lose that player to a dozen rival apps. UltraCup keeps the entire tournament in one place: live standings, knockout brackets, Outrights, automatic boosts and Blind Bets on matchups that haven’t even been drawn yet. Operators capture that attention from the opening whistle and hold it all the way to the final.”
