DigiPlus Highlights Robust Growth, New Financial Metrics, and Expanded Gaming-as-a-Service Ecosystem

DigiPlus Interactive Corp. (DigiPlus), a leading digital entertainment provider known for platforms like BingoPlus, ArenaPlus, and GameZone, has reported a robust financial and operational performance for Q2 2026. The company’s reported net income surged 124% quarter-on-quarter to reach ₱6.98 billion, bolstered by a fair value gain recognized from its investment in International Entertainment Corporation’s (IEC) convertible notes. Excluding this non-operating gain, core net income stood at ₱2.35 billion, representing an 8% increase from the preceding quarter.

Executive Insights and Strategic Shift to Net Gaming Revenue After Tax

Explaining the operational performance, DigiPlus President Ping Chen emphasized the significance of user scale and efficiency metrics.

“As our business evolves, we believe the MAU base and the MABD growth reflects the market share of our platforms, our strength in product development, and the overall quality of our Gaming-as-a-Service strategy. Our net gaming revenue after tax is the key metric we use to assess the performance of our operations as it captures not just the growth and scale of our user base, but also measures the efficiency and the return on capital spend.”

Beginning this quarter, DigiPlus introduced Net Gaming Revenue (NGR) after tax as a core operational metric to align with global peers. NGR after tax increased 0.9% quarter-on-quarter to ₱5.52 billion, achieving a margin of 35% due to improved returns on advertising and promotional expenses alongside lower tax costs following the IEC transaction. Meanwhile, Gross Gaming Revenues (GGR) registered at ₱15.61 billion, reflecting a 9% quarter-on-quarter adjustment driven by aggressive user acquisition efforts and macroeconomic factors.

Chen further added:

“The growing user base, improved cohort, as well as higher returns on capital will contribute to significantly higher GGR and NGR, as well as significantly higher profitability in the next quarters to come. Looking ahead, DigiPlus is evolving beyond a traditional online gaming operator into a Gaming-as-a-Service ecosystem powered by proprietary content, data-driven personalization, and continuous product innovation.”

Product Innovation, Brand Milestones, and Regional Recognition

To maintain momentum, DigiPlus dedicated 5% of its revenues in the second quarter to product research and development. The company expanded its homegrown portfolio with titles such as Pinoy Drop Ball Turbo, Bingo Swerte, Pride Champion, and Bingo Speed. Concurrently, its flagship brands achieved major milestones: BingoPlus celebrated its fourth anniversary with a national gala, ArenaPlus secured its status as the Official Partner of the National Basketball Association (NBA) in the Philippines, and GameZone marked its second anniversary with integrated rewards campaigns.

Highlighting its broader corporate growth, DigiPlus was recognized for the third consecutive year in the Fortune Southeast Asia 500 list, which highlights the region’s largest firms by revenue.

Social Impact Through DigiPlus Foundation

Alongside commercial expansion, the DigiPlus Foundation invested ₱19.4 million during the quarter toward sustainable development initiatives supporting over 20,000 Filipinos. Key programs included launching Tech Quest (the country’s first National Robotics Competition in partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology), providing fuel-crisis assistance to over 5,000 transport workers, and delivering disaster relief to more than 15,000 individuals affected by the magnitude 7.2 earthquake in General Santos City and Sarangani.

Brands such as BingoPlus, ArenaPlus, and GameZone actively contributed to food security, inclusive community sports, and child nutrition initiatives like the GoodZone program in Tondo, Manila.
