Hospitality and gaming giant Delaware North has selected the state of New Jersey as the primary launch market to debut Ember Casino, its comprehensively rebranded iGaming platform designed specifically for the United States digital ecosystem.

The strategic operational shift marks the initial phase of a multi-state transition program, migrating all existing Betly sports betting and digital casino accounts over to the new Ember environment. Additional state-level integrations and geographical expansions are scheduled throughout the remaining quarters of the year.
To drive its new technical infrastructure, Delaware North has entered into a major software partnership with global Omni-channel platform provider Playtech. The integration grants Ember Casino immediate access to Playtech’s advanced iGaming engine, delivering a sprawling collection of premium video slots, live-dealer tables, and the specialized BetBuddy responsible gaming behavioral analytics tool.
To complement the operational core, the group has finalized additional auxiliary game-delivery contracts with IGT, Light & Wonder, and White Hat Studios, while retaining specialized digital design agency Vegas Kings to manage front-end user interfaces and AcquireBet to optimize customer acquisition tracks.
Corporate leadership emphasized that the unified rebranding strategy is foundational to establishing a scalable, standardized digital presence across highly competitive regulated jurisdictions. Jason Gregorec, President of Gaming for Delaware North, described the digital launch as a pivotal evolutionary step for the organization:
“Ember represents the next chapter for our gaming business. We are building a connected platform that integrates our digital and brick-and-mortar expertise, creating a seamless experience for players while positioning us for long-term growth in highly competitive regulated markets.”
Lee Terfloth, Chief Interactive Gaming Officer for Delaware North, added that the enterprise partnerships ensure their technological deployment matches modern consumer expectations:
“Our mission has always been to deliver exceptional experiences. These partnerships are fuelling our expansion in the digital gaming space with the same level of precision, personalisation and innovation our players have come to expect.”
Delaware North maintains a large land-based operational footprint across seven US states, managing prominent retail casino assets such as the Southland Casino and Hotel in Arkansas, alongside the Catawba Nation’s multi-million dollar destination casino resort development project currently under construction in North Carolina.
