tipico-liga-3

Tipico and the Deutscher Fußball-Bund (DFB) have extended their ongoing collaboration after the companies signed a new agreement that will see Tipico become the official partner of Germany’s 3 Liga starting from 1 July 2025.

This lucrative partnership will be live until the end of the 2027/28 season, with the option for Tipico to extend the partnership with 3 Liga for the following season as well.

Already a crucial partner of the Bundesliga, 2. Bundesliga, and both the men’s and women’s DFB Cup competitions, Tipico now becomes the only brand to hold partnerships across all professional football competitions in Germany.

As part of the agreement, Tipico will receive extensive advertising rights within the 3. Liga, and these will include joint branding with the league on the right sleeve of all team kits, perimeter advertising during televised matches, and a variety of digital assets.

Moreover, a majority of the revenue generated from these rights will be distributed directly to the 20 clubs of the year each year, thus supporting both grassroots and professional football alike.

Kajetan Strini-Brown, Director of Marketing & Brand at Tipico, commented on the partnership:

3. Liga is pure football—packed stadiums, passionate competition, hope and suspense—it’s a perfect match for Tipico. We’re thrilled to enhance the visibility and appeal of this unique league. For us, the 3. Liga is the logical extension of our commitment, completing our presence across all professional competitions.”

This move perfectly aligns with Tipico’s launch of the “Trusted Partner” initiative, a responsible gambling campaign specifically designed to promote licensed sports betting operators and battle illegal gambling in Germany.

Arguably the biggest and most reputable operator in the country, Tipico is a licensed operator, and as such, the company is officially listed on Germany’s register of authorized sports betting providers.
