BetBlocker, a non-profit responsible gambling charity, has expanded its support by introducing a new Catalan language service during the inaugural ICE Barcelona iGaming event.

BetBlocker is a leading US and UK-registered responsible gambling charity that provides anonymous and, above all, free blocking software. In light of the much-anticipated ICE Barcelona conference that starts today, BetBlocker has announced the launch of a new service that will enable support in the Catalan language.

After a historic 2024 for BetBlocker which saw the charity selected as the official Charity Partner for ICE London 2024, BetBlocker used the cash donation arranged by Clarion Gaming and invested it to ensure the support of Catalan iGaming enthusiasts.

Namely, BetBlocker introduced support in Catalan during its inaugural launch edition of ICE Barcelona, a feat that will see 4 million Catalan first-language speakers get support and full access to the services of BetBlocker.

Duncan Garvie, Founder and Trustee for BetBlocker, said that by becoming the official Charity Partner of Clarion Gaming in 2024, the organization felt that it was only natural to use the received funding as an investment to develop support in Catalan to mark the beginning of ICE.

After the extremely generous support of Clarion Gaming when they selected us as their Charity Partner in 2024, it seemed only appropriate to invest the funding we received to work in a way that recognized the support we’d been given. With ICE moving to Barcelona this year, it seems like the perfect reason to expand our support to the Catalan language. Giving back to the community that supports the ICE conference for the coming years and helping to draw attention to the sector-leading support that Clarion Gaming gives to socially responsible projects like BetBlocker.

BetBlocker is a dedicated, responsible gambling charity that provides users with a free-to-use- app specifically designed to block more than 86 thousand gambling websites and 1.5 thousand gambling apps in a plethora of different languages, offering unmatched support to players who wish to stop gambling or limit their activities.
