Mascot Gaming Review

Romanian B2B casino games studio established in 2015, MGA and ONJN licensed with RNG certified by GLI.

Mascot Gaming Overview

Mascot Gaming is a B2B casino games studio that supplies content to online casinos. It was established in 2015 in Brasov, Romania, where it is based in the town of Rasnov, and it began as a tiny team of two developers before growing into a broader supplier. Today it produces a mix of slots, crash, shooting and table content and works with more than 500 iGaming companies, having shifted over the years from running its own platform to supplying content to other operators. As a studio it licenses that content rather than operating a casino itself.

From Two Developers Up

Mascot Gaming's story is one of adaptation: it started as a small online gaming project built by two developers and reshaped itself into a games supplier as the market changed. From its Romanian base it widened both its content range and its commercial network, building toward the 500 plus operator relationships it reports today. Securing its Malta licence in 2024 marked a step up in its regulated market ambitions, and the company has used that approval to increase its output and its presence in licensed jurisdictions across Europe.

MGA and RNG Testing

Mascot Gaming holds a Malta Gaming Authority licence, secured in 2024, alongside a licence in its home market of Romania under the regulator ONJN. Its content is independently tested, with an RNG confirmation certificate from Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) and further RNG testing and certification, which is what lets operators in regulated markets add its content. That pairing of a European licence and laboratory certification is the basis of the compliance standing it relies on when supplying licensed operators. Adding lab certification alongside the MGA licence is what opened the wider regulated markets it now targets.

Operators and Output

Mascot Gaming reaches its 500 plus operator partners both through direct integrations and via the aggregation platforms that carry studio content, supplying a catalogue that spans several casino formats rather than slots alone. Since gaining its MGA licence the studio has stepped up its release schedule, adding content aimed at the regulated markets that licence opens. It stays a content supplier, with licensed operators integrating its games, while the casinos carry the player relationships and the local regulatory duties in each market. The studio frames its decade of operation and its recent Malta licence as evidence that a small Romanian team has matured into a credible regulated supplier.
