Gaming Corps has signed a content partnership with Veikkaus, Finland’s state-owned gaming operator, ahead of Finland’s upcoming shift to a competitive, license-based gambling market scheduled for July 1, 2027.
The initial launch will focus on integrating Gaming Corps’ diverse slots catalogue onto the Veikkaus platform, with provisions allowing for future expansion into other gaming categories, including table, mine, plinko, and multiplier games, as well as proprietary products such as Smash4Cash™, A-MAZE-CADES™, and X-MY-WAY™.
Gaming Corps also highlighted its popular 3 Pigs slots IP, which has developed into one of the studio’s flagship franchises with characters adapted across multiple themes and gameplay formats. Veikkaus currently serves nearly 2.7 million registered customers across lottery, sports betting, iCasino, and instant products, operating digitally via veikkaus.fi alongside land-based properties including Casino Helsinki and forty-four gaming arcades. The partnership forms a key component of Veikkaus’ supplier preparation strategy as Finland moves to end online casino and betting exclusivity under the 2027 licensing model.
Executive commentary on strategic collaboration
Graham Greensmith, Chief Commercial Officer at Gaming Corps, commented on the agreement:
“Veikkaus is one of the most established names in European gaming, with an extraordinary reach and relationship with players in Finland. The market is now approaching one of the biggest changes in its history, so this is a particularly exciting time for us to begin working together. What stands out for us most is the chance to add something very different to the Veikkaus portfolio. We’ve built Gaming Corps around variety, with inventive mechanics, fresh concepts and a broad mix of gameplay experiences. That breadth can be a real advantage as competition in Finland increases.”
Riikka Seppänen, Vice President of iCasino at Veikkaus, added:
“Gaming Corps has been superb to work with, delivering its content in record time and with real precision. That speed and execution is hugely valuable to us, and their arrival comes at a great time as we continue preparing for the changes ahead in Finland. They bring a strong and distinctive slots portfolio that fits well with what we’re looking to achieve and we’re super excited to get the games live and in front of our players.”
Preparing for Finland’s regulated future
The collaboration underscores the proactive steps being taken by state-owned operators and international suppliers alike as Nordic jurisdictions transition toward open licensing models. By securing this agreement early, Gaming Corps positions its proprietary mechanics and expanding game suite to capture substantial market share upon the formal opening of the Finnish commercial licensing regime in July 2027.
