Malta-Based Esports Company Chronicles Roster Journey, Upcoming Tournaments, and Content Creator Expansion
Malta-based esports and gaming organization Nordic Partners Gaming (NPG) has set its sights on breaking into the Counter-Strike 2 Top 50. To document this milestone, the company is launching a new video series on its YouTube channel, releasing two episodes each month to follow the team’s progress through tournament competition, tactical preparation, and everyday challenges.
NPG acquired the roster earlier this year when the team was ranked 123rd in the world. Since the acquisition, the squad has secured its first series victory and a 3rd–4th place finish at the Exort Fiesta Series, earning its initial prize money. The first teaser for the documentary series will debut following the team’s opening matches at the upcoming tournament in Porto.
Upcoming Tournaments and Content Expansion
The roster faces a busy competitive schedule, heading to Porto, Portugal, from September 24 to 27 for the $30,000 LEON.BET tournament. Immediately following, the team will travel to Skövde, Sweden, on October 2 and 3 to compete against top-tier names in the $20,000 ROG Journey event.
In addition to its competitive roster developments, NPG has signed Runar “Mystixx” Borge as an official company streamer to strengthen its connection with the Norwegian gaming community.
Executive Insights
Håvard Lehn, CEO of Nordic Partners Gaming, commented on the project and team growth:
“What excites me about this project is giving people a real, unique look at what we’re building at NPG, what it takes to become a pro, climb through the ranks and deal with the setbacks along the way. It’s about the people behind the nicknames, the team dynamics, the preparation, game insights, wins, losses and everything in between.”
Regarding the addition of their new content creator, Lehn added:
“We’re really pleased to welcome Mystixx to the team. He gives us a much closer connection to the Norwegian gaming community, and we’re looking forward to growing NPG together.”
