Managed Technology Leader Selected as Early Access Partner for Nutanix Service Provider Central to Advance Regulated Infrastructure
Continent 8 Technologies has announced an extension of its long-standing partnership with hybrid cloud leader and AI innovator Nutanix. The expanded collaboration builds on years of joint engineering work to deliver enterprise-grade cloud solutions tailored specifically for the rigorous performance, security, and compliance demands of the global iGaming and online sports betting sectors.
Pioneering Multitenant Cloud Deployment
As part of the expanded agreement, Continent 8 has been selected as an early access partner to help shape Nutanix Service Provider Central (SP Central), a new multitenant cloud platform announced in April 2026. Continent 8 will rank among the first service providers worldwide to deploy a service leveraging SP Central commercially.
By combining Nutanix’s multitenant architecture with Continent 8’s operational governance model, the deployment maintains strict data oversight and security across individual customer environments—a critical necessity for operators navigating complex international regulatory frameworks. The collaboration also empowers Continent 8’s global team of certified specialists and AI-enabled Global Capability Centers in India, the Philippines, and Bulgaria to facilitate large-scale infrastructure modernizations.
Executive Insights on the Collaboration
Mike Small, Chief Executive Officer at Continent 8 Technologies, commented:
“Today’s announcement reflects the strength of our relationship with Nutanix and our shared vision for the future of enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure and services. Edward O’Connor, Chief Technology Officer at Continent 8 Technologies, added:

For several years, our engineering and product teams have worked side-by-side to help shape solutions that address real-world service provider and customer requirements. Through this collaboration, Continent 8 is delivering cloud services that combine enterprise-grade security, operational simplicity and the flexibility customers need to scale globally, accelerate innovation and respond to evolving business demands.”
Sachin Chheda, Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at Nutanix, stated:
“We are excited to collaborate with Continent 8 to bring enterprise cloud services powered by Nutanix to highly regulated industries. Our collaboration with Continent 8 is a prime example of how we are empowering service providers to build and scale cloud services. By leveraging the Nutanix Cloud Platform and SP Central and their multitenant capabilities, Continent 8 is equipped to deliver the operational simplicity, security, and performance that their customers demand and need.”
Proven Results in the iGaming Sector
The partnership has already yielded measurable operational benefits across the industry. For instance, Continent 8 successfully led a complex VMware-to-Nutanix cloud migration for Sportingtech, effectively avoiding a major projected increase in virtualization costs while safeguarding the strict security, performance, and compliance standards required in regulated markets.
