Global Sports Technology Leader Expands Premier Basketball Portfolio to Cover Over 650 Games Annually Across EuroLeague and BKT EuroCup
Sportradar Group AG has officially announced a multi-year extension of its strategic data and audiovisual (AV) betting rights partnership with Euroleague Basketball. Originally secured as part of Sportradar’s acquisition of IMG ARENA in 2025, the renewed agreement begins with the upcoming 2026-27 campaign and extends Sportradar’s exclusive global distribution rights through 2031.
The extensive partnership covers more than 650 games annually across both the premier EuroLeague and the BKT EuroCup competitions. By integrating official data into advanced technology networks, Sportradar aims to unlock new commercialization opportunities while rolling out innovative basketball solutions designed to enhance the fan experience.
Strengthening a World-Class Basketball Portfolio
The long-term renewal reinforces Sportradar’s standing as a leading official data rights holder across major global sports properties, particularly within heavily bet-on basketball markets. The company’s impressive basketball roster already features prominent partnerships with the NBA, WNBA, NBL Australia, NBB Brazil, CBA China, LNB France, GBL Greece, LBA Italy, and ACB Spain.
Leveraging its global distribution network, proprietary technology, and advanced data capabilities, Sportradar will facilitate deeper integration of official data into cutting-edge betting and fan engagement products. This includes expanding micro-betting markets and specialized player props, helping fans connect more closely with their favorite teams and athletes.
Commitment to Integrity and Anti-Corruption Measures
Beyond commercial distribution, the expanded collaboration includes robust measures to protect the integrity of the sport. Sportradar will continue providing Euroleague Basketball with industry-leading integrity services, utilizing its advanced Universal Fraud Detection System (UFDS) powered by AI alongside comprehensive educational workshops for players, coaches, and administrators to prevent match-fixing.
