Gamblers Connect was first bootstrapped and is now funded by a transparent paid-review and paid-listing model, not by player-acquisition affiliate links. Operators, providers, and B2B partners pay a fee that covers our verification, methodology, and editorial process. The fee never buys a positive write-up, never protects a partner from a negative finding, never adjusts a Responsible Gambling Index score, and never overrides our published methodology. Every commercial relationship is disclosed on the page where it applies, and our editorial team operates under a documented independence firewall from the commercial team.

About these policies. The documents below describe Gamblers Connect's intended editorial, operational, and governance practices as of their stated review dates. They are published for transparency and informational purposes only. Timeframes, processes, and standards reflect what we aim to achieve under normal operating capacity and are subject to reasonable variation based on resourcing, circumstance, and factors outside our control. A note on who we are

We are a small, independent team, and we are bootstrapped. Gamblers Connect is not owned by any operator, network, or holding group, and we have taken no outside investment. That independence is the whole point: with no investor and no parent company setting our agenda, nobody can buy, pressure, or quietly steer an editorial outcome. It is also why we publish this entire policy library openly, and hold ourselves to it even when no one is watching. In plain terms: we are a B2B media platform, not an affiliate, we take no player-related revenue, every paid relationship is disclosed on the page where it appears with the fee covering the process and never the outcome, and anyone who believes we have something wrong can request a correction or right of reply through our Contact page. We will not always get everything right on the first attempt, and a lean team means some processes mature over time, but we would rather state our standards plainly and be held to them than hide behind vague language. Where we fall short, tell us, and we will fix it and improve. We began rolling these policies out in June 2026 and are still restructuring; we are working towards having them fully implemented across the platform by October 2026. Until then, some processes described here are still being put fully into practice.

Commercial Transparency

Every paid relationship and sponsored placement is disclosed on the page where it applies.

Gamblers Connect is funded by paid reviews, paid iHub directory listings, advertising, sponsored editorial, newsletter sponsorships, podcast partner shows, and B2B subscription and data licensing revenue. We do not earn affiliate commissions, CPA fees, hybrid deals, or revenue share from any operator. Where money changes hands, we say so on the page itself. The fee covers the review process; the outcome is not for sale.

If we get something wrong, you can correct us. If you cannot access something, you can report it. If you are unhappy with our coverage, there is a published three-stage complaints procedure with named escalation paths up to the Chief Compliance Officer and, where appropriate, to the relevant external regulator or press body.

We process data on a lawful basis under the EU GDPR, UK GDPR, and equivalent global regimes, respond to data subject requests within the statutory window, and publish our cookie inventory and processor list. Personal data is never sold, brokered, or used for behavioural advertising profiling without explicit consent.
