Firesand, a leader in iGaming security solutions, has announced a strengthened strategic partnership with RiskCherry, a specialist in game certification.

The collaboration aims to combine the two companies’ complementary expertise to provide a comprehensive, “end-to-end” service for operators and suppliers in regulated markets.

Bridging the Gap Between Security and Certification

RiskCherry is widely recognized for its certification solutions, covering RNG (Random Number Generator) and game testing. However, security testing has traditionally fallen outside its scope. Firesand addresses this gap by integrating its advanced penetration testing and “Red Team” services into the offering.

This ensures that clients not only meet certification standards but also possess robust defenses against cyber threats.

The partnership also covers ISO 27001 certification. Under the new agreement, RiskCherry will support the implementation process, while Firesand will deliver independent auditing. This creates a streamlined path for businesses seeking both accreditation and high-level security assurance.

Executive Insight

Matthew Holloway, Director at Firesand, highlighted the necessity of merging these disciplines. “Partnering with RiskCherry allows us to deliver a truly end-to-end solution for iGaming operators and suppliers,” Holloway said. “Security and compliance go hand in hand, and by combining our security expertise with their certification capabilities, we’re helping businesses stay ahead of both regulatory requirements and evolving cyber threats.”

Simplifying Compliance

The joint initiative is designed to reduce complexity for partners, allowing for faster and more efficient compliance processes. “Our mission has always been to simplify certification and compliance for the iGaming industry,” added Rob Fell, CEO at RiskCherry. “By joining forces with Firesand, we can now offer clients a seamless experience that covers everything from RNG certification to advanced security audits, making compliance faster, more efficient, and more robust.”
