Expanse Studios, the gaming content subsidiary of Golden Matrix Group Inc. (NASDAQ: GMGI), has officially announced its entry into the regulated market of Belgium.

The company will launch its proprietary game portfolio through a new content distribution partnership with Golden Palace, a leading licensed Belgian online casino aggregator. This move signifies a major step in Expanse Studios’ strategy to broaden its European footprint by tapping into high-value, regulated jurisdictions.

Leveraging Aggregation for Growth

Under the terms of the agreement, Expanse Studios’ diverse library of slot and table games will be integrated into Golden Palace’s aggregation platform. This will provide immediate access to Belgium’s network of active B+ license holders. By utilizing an aggregator model, Expanse Studios can bypass the complexities of direct market licensing, allowing the company to maintain its primary focus on content development while still achieving scalable distribution.

A Lucrative Market Opportunity

Belgium represents a highly attractive landscape for iGaming suppliers. According to data from the Belgian Gaming Commission, the country’s online casino sector generated €455 million in gross gaming revenue in 2023, reflecting a robust 20.2% year-over-year growth. This segment currently accounts for the largest share of Belgium’s total €944.6 million online gambling market.

Leadership Commentary

Damjan Stamenkovic, CEO of Expanse Studios, highlighted the strategic importance of the deal.

“Belgium represents a very attractive, highly regulated market for Expanse Studios—strong revenue growth, strict compliance standards, and established digital adoption,” Stamenkovic stated. “Partnering with Golden Palace’s aggregation platform provides immediate distribution access to licensed Belgian operators while maintaining our focus on content development rather than direct market licensing. This aggregator model enables scalable European expansion across multiple regulated jurisdictions.”

Global Reach

Expanse Studios currently distributes its proprietary content to over 1,300 operators worldwide through various B2B partnerships. This latest launch follows the company’s established strategy of partnering with licensed aggregators to ensure compliant and efficient entry into new European territories.
