A detailed shot of the New Jersey state flag, highlighting its "Liberty and Prosperity" motto in the context of record iGaming tax receipts. New Jersey October Revenue

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) has confirmed a landmark achievement for the state’s internet casino sector, reporting a record-shattering $260.3 million in internet casino revenue for October.

This figure finally eclipsed the elusive quarter-billion dollar benchmark after several months in 2025 where totals flirted just shy of the massive milestone, ranging between $243.2 million and $248.4 million. The collective revenue represents a robust 21.8% year-over-year increase, a relief to operators following a softer 16.8% increase reported in September 2024.

Leading this surge was FanDuel Casino, which set an individual state record with $60.9 million in monthly earnings. FanDuel is now the only iGaming platform in New Jersey to have successfully cleared both the $55 million and $60 million monthly revenue marks.

Its $533.4 million accrued in the calendar year is up 30.5% compared to the first 10 months of 2024, signaling a significant break from the competition. FanDuel’s performance contributed the majority of the combined record $79.9 million generated by the five platforms operating under the Golden Nugget license.

This financial success translated directly into record tax receipts for the state, with New Jersey coffers seeing an inflow of $51.5 million from iGaming taxes. The higher 19.75% tax rate, which took effect on July 1st at the start of the fiscal year, has generated $197.7 million in its first four months.

The overall gaming revenue in October for New Jersey, combining iGaming, sports betting, and Atlantic City casinos, totaled an impressive $611.1 million for October, marking a 22.3% spike compared to the previous year. All three verticals posted double-digit annual gains, with sports betting soaring by 49.8% to $116.1 million and brick-and-mortar casino winnings up 12.5% to $234.7 million.

While FanDuel solidified its dominance, DraftKings remained the second-ranked operator, though its growth was more modest. It was narrowly rebuffed in its chase for a second $50 million total, posting $48.5 million in revenue, a 6.3% increase year-over-year.

Meanwhile, the Borgata pipped Resorts for the number two spot among Atlantic City license-holders, riding BetMGM’s record $33.2 million in winnings to an all-time monthly high of $58.9 million. The diverse contributions, including Fanatics Casino’s record $13 million haul, underscore the market’s dynamism and continued digital expansion.
