Rise & Hustle, a new “tap-to-earn” gaming operator targeting Africa’s mobile-first generation, has officially launched its reward-based mobile game series in the Nigerian market.
Operating on a proprietary platform, the company offers a unique free-to-play model where players can earn real-world rewards, such as mobile airtime, without any financial spend.
The platform’s gameplay is designed around a progression system where players aim to rise from the rank of “Hustler” to “Kingpin.”
Through energetic and competitive in-house designed games, players earn an in-game currency called “Bucks.” These Bucks can then be redeemed for tangible rewards and mobile airtime, creating a direct link between in-game achievements and real-world value.
The experience is further enhanced by a strong community focus, with features like “Squads,” leaderboards, and real-time tournaments being central to the gameplay loop.
A key differentiator for Rise & Hustle is its integration of Web3 technology. In addition to standard rewards, players can earn “Rise Tokens,” a crypto-backed reward operating on the Binance Smart Chain.
These tokens power a real economy within the platform, designed to reward player loyalty and sustained engagement. The company was co-founded by Anthony Broadhurst, a recognized figure in Africa’s gaming and crypto sectors, and Josh Jones, an experienced iGaming entrepreneur, lending significant industry credibility to the venture.
Rise & Hustle has outlined an ambitious roadmap for the near future. A full Real Money Gaming (RMG) offering is scheduled for an imminent launch, which will significantly expand its product suite.
Following the debut in Nigeria, the company plans to continue its continental expansion with launches in Kenya and Ghana scheduled for completion by the end of 2025. To accelerate mass adoption, the operator will also focus on strengthening collaborations with mobile networks, major brands, and local influencers.
